Signatory Cameronbridge 2012 Single Grain Scotch Whisky Very Cloudy 700mL ABV 40%
CameronbridgeLocated to the north of Edinburgh and built in 1824, Cameronbridge is the oldest grain distillery in Scotland. It is also the largest, producing close to 100 million litres of alcohol per year. Distilled in 2012, this version has been aged exclusively in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, which has given it delicate hints of vanilla, spices and coconut. The whisky is impressively rich and mature for its young age. Like the Un-Chillfiltered Collection, the whiskies in the Very Cloudy range are bottled in small batches of two to five casks. Reduced to 40% without either chill filtering or colouring, they have a rich, intensely aromatic character and a slightly cloudy appearance. For a more authentic tasting experience, they can be enjoyed either at room temperature or lightly chilled to accentuate their oily character. The Very Cloudy range is exclusive to La Maison du Whisky.
